Quebec City

Quebec City is enchanting and feels more like an old European city, especially since everything is written and spoken in French, in addition to the city's efforts to keep the old quarters old to draw the tourist. Lucky for me, most locals speak English as well French, so it's easy to get out and about. The drive to Quebec from Bar Harbor was an all day affair at 277 miles, mostly on two lane highways.
