Visiting Bar Harbor and Maine

After the ACA Atlantic Coast bike tour, which was absolutely wonderful and challenging concluding with 2,950 miles and 80,000 feet of climbing in totals (most of the climbing occurring north of Virginia) over 61 days with 51 official riding days, Kay met me in Bar Harbor as the rest of my riding companions departed for home. Our plans, after spending three days in Bar Harbor, is to visit Quebec, Montreal, and Ottawa, all by vehicle of course. My Bike Friday is packed in its suitcase sitting quietly in the trunk. After our travels in Canada, where the exchange rate is now favoring the U.S. dollar, we'll fly home out of Syracuse in New York and visit my friend Tom in Watertown during the drive. Here's some favorite pictures from Bar Harbor and Maine.
